The following instructions will allow the end user to determine if their vehicle will be compatible with the liquid.
How to test your car
Connect up a VAG COM tool (available here) to your car and select the Engine Management Controller. Check to see what communications protocol is being used by your car. If the protocal is shown as KW1281 or KWP2089 then the liquid will work with your car. If it is any protocol other than these two, the liquid will not work with your car.
Please note that you will need to use an older (non CAN) vag-com cable to do this. Newer cables will try to connect with the CAN bus, first even if the K-line is implemented on your car. The liquid current communicates exclusively over the K-line.
Check to see which data is available from your car as not all data is available from all cars.
